Adrian: 8.
Kept us in the match with a World Class save in the second half. If it wasn’t for him, we would’ve lost.

Jenkinson: 5.
Victor Moses run riot against the loanee from Arsenal unfortunately. Jenkinson was too sloppy and wasn’t quick enough up against Moses.

Collins: 8.
Looked like he blocked everything from start to finish. Partnered Reid/Tomkins well and showed 100% commitment all throughout the match.

Reid: 5.
Dealt with everything that came his way. Unfortunately, he went off injured early on in the match.

Cresswell: 4.
Sloppy at times, his positioning weren’t great and he didn’t use his pace to great effect. Got bullied by Jonathan Walters for most of the match.

Noble: 5.
Sideward passes were the best thing he could’ve done today. A 3-man midfield doesn’t suit me, I would drop Noble if we were to change formation.

Song: 6.
Won some key tackles in good areas to start attacks which proved crucial but his passing was nowhere near on point today and caused us to concede many corners and shots fired towards our goal.

Kouyate: 6.
His best position certainly isn’t CAM, so I don’t know what Allardyce was thinking but he was very physical and he was a key player in winning the ball back for the team.

Downing: 8.
Got a superb goal and an assist too. He could’ve had more but that’s Stewart Downing for you… Excellent performance again and I’m very pleased for him. We need him badly in the Starting XI.

Amalfitano: 4.
Was quite frankly our worst player in the first half and Allardyce decided to rightly substitute him. Wasn’t physical enough and wasn’t able to show his technical ability that we know he has.

Valencia: 8.
Same with Downing, he got a goal and an assist but could’ve had more as well. Very isolated in the first half but the tactical change helped him massively and he deserved that well taken header. He was great in the second half – our key player.

Subs:
Tomkins: 7.
Stepped in for Reid early on & wasn’t at fault for any goals or missed opportunities from Stoke. Defended well and he is well assured of a first-team position in my opinion.

C Cole: 6.
He done what he had to do. He helped Enner Valencia grow into the game and Allardyce bringing the back man on effectively changed West Ham and the comeback grew more and more as the match went on.

Nolan: 6.
Didn’t have too much to feed off but he was well in with the celebrations and that’s great to see. Nolan is well liked by all of the players so it was a nice touch after starting on the bench.
